Yovanovitch commemorating journalist Sheremet in Kyiv's downtown
U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch has paid tribute to the memory of Pavel Sheremet, journalist of the Internet publication Ukrayinska Pravda, who was killed two years ago.
On Friday morning, Yovanovitch came to the place of death of Sheremet in the center of Kyiv at the crossroads of Bohdan Khmelnytsky and Ivan Franko Streets, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
In addition, residents and guests of the capital are bringing flowers to the scene, and public activists are holding posters saying: "July 20, 2016. Kyiv. Pavel Sheremet, murderers have not been found yet two years later."
