Ukraine loses appeal in British court in Ukrtatnafta case
The High Court of Justice in London on July 13 rejected the appeal of Ukraine on the issue of recognition and execution of the decision of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration in the territory of the UK to recover $112 million (and interest) from Ukraine in favor of Russian Tatneft in the Ukrtatnafta case, Enkorr writes.
Enkorr refers to a copy of the court decision, available to the edition.
As reported, Tatneft began arbitration proceedings against Ukraine in 2008 in accordance with the Russian-Ukrainian agreement on promotion and mutual protection of investments due to the situation with Ukrtatnafta.
