Russia, EC, Ukraine discuss gas transit rates Kyiv presented to EC

At trilateral talks in Berlin, Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission discussed the payment rates for transit of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine, Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

"We also talked about the rate for transit, those calculations that were presented by the Ukrainian side to the European Commission," Novak said.

"They were designated as reference points demanding additional discussion," he said.
