Ukrnafta sells half of gas produced in June through UEE auctions and under bilateral agreements

PJSC Ukrnafta has sold 43.8 million cubic meters of gas, which is 50.2% of the total volume of production in June, through auctions on the Ukrainian Energy Exchange (UEE) and under bilateral contracts, the company's press service has reported.

"Some 5.4 million cubic meters of gas of own production was sold in the framework of four auctions on the UEE at an average weighted price of UAH 9,300 per 1,000 cubic meters. The company sold the bulk of raw materials under bilateral contracts at a weighted average price of UAH 9,281 ... In June 2018, the total gas production amounted to 87.3 million cubic meters. The volume of commercial gas amounted to 45.9 million cubic meters," the press service noted.

As reported, in April Ukrnafta stopped gas processing at the facilities of Dniproazot and transferred to its sale through the exchange and under bilateral contracts.

Earlier Ukrnafta leased the capacities of Dniproazot for processing own gas into mineral fertilizers. Ukrnafta sold ammonia produced this way to Dniproazot.
