Poroshenko voices countries in which Gazprom assets will be seized to get $2.6 bln

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has named the countries in which Gazprom assets will be seized to receive $2.6 billion, which, according to the court decision, Ukraine should get.

"In order to get $2.6 billion, which Gazprom refuses to pay us, the best lawyers of the world who represent Ukraine now have arrested the assets in Britain, the Netherlands, in the near future [they will arrest the assets] in the United States of America, in Switzerland. We will not allow anyone to rob Ukraine," the president said at a meeting with the students of the law faculty at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

At the end of May it became known that Naftogaz Ukrainy began the process of recovering a debt of $2.6 billion from PJSC Gazprom (Russia) in foreign courts, pursuant to the decision of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
