Oksana Markarova has been appointed acting Finance Minister from June 8, the Government Portal has reported.
"The fulfillment of the duties of the Minister of Finance is entrusted to First Deputy Minister of Finance Oksana Markarova. The corresponding decision was unanimously approved at an extraordinary meeting of the government," the statement said.
Markarova has been Deputy Finance Minister since March 2015.
