Cabinet approves Ukraine's voluntary contribution to European Council at $400,000
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a voluntary contribution of Ukraine to the Council of Europe in the amount of $400,000.
The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday.
"There is a practice of voluntary contributions to the Council of Europe, which is very important for us to stop Russia's attempts to manipulate the reform of the Council of Europe and manipulate the agenda of the Council of Europe," Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin explained.
According to him, Ukraine is also working with its allies so that they also make appropriate contributions.
