The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has registered the Globus international payment system, the central bank has reported on its website.
The NBU issued the certificate for the payment organization of the system – public joint-stock company CB Globus (Kyiv) on May 4, 2018.
According to the NBU, the Globus payment system allows transferring cash and cashless payments from individuals and companies to individuals.
The regulator said that this is the 18th international payment system on the Ukrainian market.
Bank Globus was registered in 2007. The main shareholder of the bank is Olena Silniahina indirectly through Ukrainian Media Technologies LLC (100%).
The bank ranked 38th among 84 operating banks as of January 1, 2018, in terms of total assets worth UAH 2.425 billion, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
