Ukrtatnafta posts almost 13-fold rise in net loss in 2017
Public joint-stock company Ukrtatnafta (Kremenchuk oil refinery, Poltava region) in 2017 saw a 12.6-fold rise in net loss, to UAH 2.437 billion, the company has said in a report.
Net revenue last year grew by 39.6%, to UAH 33.227 billion.
"Net revenue from sold fuel totaled UAH 29.996 billion… The share of sales on the domestic market in 2017 was 88.92%," the company said.
Gross loss in 2017 amounted to UAH 444.396 million compared with UAH 1.243 billion of gross profit a year ago.
National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrainy owns a 43.05% stake in Ukrtatnafta, another 28% is controlled by the structures of Privat Group and businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavsky.
