Ukraine's national budget outturn of revenue in April 102.2% - treasury

Revenue of Ukraine's national budget in April 2018 totaled UAH 78.87 billion, which is UAH 1.67 billion or 2.2% more than the target, the State Treasury Service of Ukraine reported on its website on Wednesday.

The treasury service said that compared with April 2017 budget revenue fell by UAH 6.17 billion or 7.25, which is linked to the special confiscation for almost UAH 30 billion completed in April 2017.

Revenue of the general fund (the special confiscation funds were sent to the special fund) were UAH 73.38 billion last month, which is 4.3% more than the target and 44.6% more than the year-over-year figure.

Partially it was linked to the transfer of the first tranche of profit by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in the amount of UAH 15 billion, while in April UAH 10 billion was sent by the NBU.

In January-April 2018, revenue of Ukraine's national budget totaled UAH 272.45 billion. The budget outturn of revenue was 98.2%, and revenue grew by 4.9% year-over-year.

Revenue of the general fund in January-April 2018 amounted to UAH 248.8 billion, which is 2.2% less than the target and 16.7% better than the figure in January-April 2017.

The treasury service said that tax revenue in January-April 2018 came to UAH 121.55 billion, which is UAH 1.23 billion or 1% less than the target, while customs payments totaled UAH 99.09 billion with the outturn of 95.5%. Tax revenue grew by 11% year-over-year, and customs revenue – by 8.8%.

In April, tax revenue reached UAH 29.08 billion, which is 12.4% more than the target and 57.3% better than in April 2017. Customs revenue in April were 10.8% less than the target – UAH 24.18 billion, which is 0.1% less than a year ago.

The outturn of revenue received from the State Fiscal Service was 100.5%. Revenue amounted to UH 53.26 billion, which is 24.7% more than in April 2017.

In January-April 2018, VAT refunds totaled UAH 43.6 billion, which is 14.7% more than in January-April 2017. In April, UAH 9.95 billion was refunded compared with UAH 10.1 billion in March 2018 and UAH 11.09 billion in April 2017.

Revenue of local budgets in April 2018 totaled UAH 19.53 billion, which is 8% more than a year ago, and in January-April 2018 local budgets saw UAH 72.56 billion in revenue, which is 17.6% more than a year ago.

Single social security tax payments grew by 24.9% in April year-over-year, to UAH 18.6 billion, and in January-April 2018 – by 27.3%, to UAH 68.39 billion.
