Ukraine pumps 76 mcm of gas to underground storage since heating season's end
Ukraine has pumped 75.92 million cubic meters (mcm) of natural gas to its underground storage facilities since the end of the heating season on April 8, and as of April 14 its gas stocks stood at 7.511 billion cubic meters (bcm).
According to the data of the public joint-stock company Ukrtransgaz, on April 9-14, 78.38 mcm of gas was pumped into the underground facilities and 2.46 mcm pumped out of them.
As of April 8, 2018, a total of 7.435 bcm of gas was accumulated in the country's underground storage facilities. Ukraine saw the lowest level of gas stocks on March 22, when there were 8.1 bcm of gas in the storage.
Ukrtransgaz, fully owned by Naftogaz Ukrainy, operates a system of trunk gas pipelines and 12 underground gas storage facilities in the country.
