Ukrzaliznytsia to create operator to manage railway stations
Public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia seeks to create a separate operator to manage railway stations in its structure.
"Another innovation: we have a large number of railway stations. All these facilities and its operations should be centrally managed. The lease, use of stations, public private partnership - we plan to carry out this only through Prozorro.Sales," Yevhen Kravtsov at the press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He expressed conviction that the strategy for the development of railway station facilities and the service for customers should begin with the opening of the station operator.
"During this year we plan to separate it in the passenger company and create a separate strategy, rules and plan for the development of this operator for the coming years," Kravtsov said.
