Supreme Court rules to collect dividends for 2011-2014 from Ukrnafta in favor of shareholders
The Supreme Court of Ukraine has confirmed the ruling of Kyiv's business court issued on July 31, 2017 and the ruling of Kyiv's business court of appeals issued on September 25, 2017 ordering to collect dividends for 2011-2014 from public joint-stock company Ukrnafta in favor of its shareholders.
The ruling published in the unified public register of court rulings was issued at a hearing on January 17, 2018.
The sum to be collected consists of UAH 78,579 of dividends for 2011-2014, UAH 26,696 of inflation element of the debt and UAH 837 (3% per annum), as legal relations in dispute are monetary.
As reported, at a meeting on November 10, 2014, Ukrnafta decided to pay dividends for 2011-2013 worth UAH 3.799 billion. In July 2015, Ukrnafta also decided to send UAH 1.264 billion to pay dividends for 2014.
Ukrnafta is a large oil producer in the country.
