System to protect interests of investors to be created in Ukraine - Poroshenko
A system to protect the interests of investors will be created in Ukraine, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko ha said speaking at the Ukrainian Breakfast in Davos on Thursday morning.
"This [the National Financial Investigations Bureau] will be the only analytical service. No other law enforcement agency would be able even to knock the doors of business. We plan to create the effective system to protect the interests of investors," the press service of the president reported, citing Poroshenko.
The president also said that Ukrainian authorities plan to amend tax legislation, according to which funds that would be left in the country and work there will be exempted from taxation.
"We will replace profit tax to stimulate attraction of investment, but only in the case when the funds are removed from Ukraine. When you invest in Ukraine, you do not pay taxes," Poroshenko said.
