Poroshenko discusses with Swiss President Berset return of frozen Ukrainian assets belonging to former bureaucrats
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in the framework of his visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland has met with President of the Swiss Conferederation Alain Berset and invited him to visit Ukraine, the president's website said on Thursday.
"The sides talked about the importance of activating cooperation between competent agencies of both countries to facilitate the return of frozen assets, which were illegally transferred from Ukraine by former officials," the statement said.
Poroshenko thanked Berset for the important role Switzerland has played in mobilizing humanitarian relief in Donbas to help victims of Russian aggression.
