Public joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsia has restored the possibility of using the service for returning e-tickets online, acting Board Chairman of Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov has said.
"The suspension of this function was a temporary forced step. We protected our clients from an artificial shortage and speculations with tickets in the period of New Year and Christmas holidays. These steps are quick and spot measures to react. Our goal is to make online services functional, and trips affordable and comfortable," he wrote on his Facebook page.
Kravtsov said that Ukrzaliznytsia expands the possibilities of the online ticket selling system, appoints new and additional trains.
According to the company, during the winter holidays (from December 22, 2017 through January 11, 2018) 2.4 million passengers traveled by train.
