Naftogaz, Gazprom to hold talks on Stockholm rulings in next few days
Negotiations between Naftogaz Ukrainy and Gazprom on the implementation of the decisions of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce will begin in the next few days, Naftogaz Chief Commercial Officer Yuriy Vitrenko has said.
"Negotiations will begin in the coming days. I'm not disclosing details. The issue concerns the implementation of a final decision on a supply contract," he told journalists in Kyiv on Wednesday.
"We believe that the tribunal's decision makes it very clear that deliveries to uncontrolled territories cannot be considered supplies to Naftogaz under this contract," he added.
Vitrenko recalled that according to the arbitration court decision, the gas price under the contract with Gazprom should be lower than the cost of gas transportation from the EU to Ukraine.
