President sees replacement of profit tax with tax on withdrawn capital as priority in 2018
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that a priority of work in 2018 will be privatization and the replacement of the profit tax with the tax on withdrawn capital.
"In 2018, our priorities in reforms are no less ambitious – privatization, deregulation, improving investment climate, national bureau on financial security, tax on withdrawn capital, liberal legislation on currency," he said at a meeting with the heads of diplomatic representative offices of foreign states and international organizations in Ukraine in Kyiv on Tuesday, January 16.
Poroshenko added that priorities for this year also included the need to further improve tender legislation, energy sector, and legislation on national security.
