Govt abolishes resolution on reorganization of territorial divisions of State Fiscal Service

 The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has abolished the decision on reorganization of the State Fiscal Service.

An Interfax-Ukraine correspondent has reported that the decision was made at a government meeting on January 11.

The government also annulled a resolution approving the concept for reforming tax and customs policy agencies system.

As reported, the Finance Ministry initiated the resolution on reformation of some territorial divisions of the State Fiscal Service. Acting head of the State Fiscal Service Myroslav Prodan opposed it.

According to the document, in particular, it was planned to create two new legal entities - the Interregional Customs and the Interregional Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service. At the same time, the regional customs and the energy customs are reorganized by joining them to the Interregional Customs.

In turn, the combined state tax inspections join the main departments of the State Fiscal Service in the regions, and the latter, together with the Office of Large Taxpayers, join the Interregional Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service.
