National budget for 2018 announces increase in financing of PGO by 23%, decease in funding SAPO
Ukraine's national budget for 2018 has announced the provision of UAH 7.169 billion to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office (PGO), which is 23% more than in 2017 and the reduction of financing of the Special Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) by UAH 3.3 million.
This is outlined in the law on the national budget of Ukraine for 2018 posted on the Verkhovna Rada's website.
In 2017, PGO received UAH 5.826 billion.
SAPO will receive UAH 116.1 million in 2018, while in 2017 its financing accounted for UAH 119.4 million.
