Russia plans to start building Nord Stream-2 in near future - Kobolev
Russia plans to begin the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline in the near future, Head of Naftogaz Ukrainy Andriy Kobolev has said at a round table in Kyiv.
"I do not quite agree with the statement that Nord Stream-2 is suspended ... The project is developing at full speed. They ordered pipes and plan to start construction in the near future," he said.
The head of Naftogaz stressed the implementation of this project would harm the energy security of European countries.
