One more bulker with 75,000 tonnes of coal from South Africa for DTEK arrives in Yuzhny port
The Genco Raptor bulker with 75,000 tonnes of coal from South Africa for DTEK arrived in the Yuzhny port overnight December 10 into December 11 morning, the press service of the DTEK energy holding has reported.
"The entire amount of coal will be sent to DTEK Kryvy Rih TPP [thermal power plant]. Coal stocks at the plant on December 11 are 75,000 tonnes. At present, two units are operating at Kryvy Rih TPP. The burden is 330 MW. The plant provides for stability of Dnipro power distribution system," the company said.
Earlier DTEK imported seven batches of anthracite for its TPPs.
