Groysman announces payment of VAT on equipment imports by installments
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has announced the possibility of introducing from January 1, 2018 of payment of VAT on equipment imports for modernization by installments for 24 months.
"As the president said, from January 1 we will introduce a system that will allow us to introduce payment of VAT on equipment imports for modernization by installments. I think that we can do this within 24 months," the prime minister said in a business dialogue with the authorities with the participation of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in Kyiv.
According to him, now it is necessary to actively revive the Ukrainian economy and simplify conditions for doing business.
"We had the "autumn of reforms," now it is winter, but spring comes after winter, let us in this room promise that the "spring of reforms" will bring new legislation with the ease of doing business, we will adopt a number of important laws that will allow us starting the process of crediting," Groysman said.
