Defense ministry, Microsoft Ukraine sign memo of cooperation
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and Microsoft Ukraine on November 27, 2017 signed a memorandum of cooperation intending to cooperate in the introduction of modern information technologies in the defense sphere, taking into account NATO standards and approaches.
The IT department of the Ministry of Defense reported on Tuesday that this envisages the application of existing experience of Microsoft's cooperation with armed forces of NATO member countries, European Union countries and the United States to the building of the protected IT infrastructure of the Defense Ministry, the introduction of IT defense systems and provision for the required level of their security, as well as support in training IT specialists of the ministry.
