Conditions of 4G tender for 2,600 MHz range to be approved next week - NCCR
The National Commission for Communications and Informatization Regulation (NCCR) intends to approve the conditions for holding a tender to receive a 4G communications licenses for the 2,600 MHz range next week, NCCR Head Oleksandr Zhyvotovsky said during the tests of 4G communications by lifecell in Kyiv on Thursday.
The commission's press service told Interfax-Ukraine that then the tender will be officially announced.
Zhyvotovsky also said that it is likely that the conditions of the tender for the 1,800 MHz range would be made public in December.
As reported, NCCR on October 17, 2017 decided to conduct conversion and issue license for the 2,600 MHz range.
It is planned to announce the tender in the first ten days of November 2017.
