Turboatom sees almost 7% rise in profit in Jan-Sept
Kharkiv-based public joint-stock company Turboatom, the largest turbine manufacturer in Ukraine, saw UAH 625.99 million in net profit in January-September 2017, which was 6.6% more than a year ago.
According to a financial report of the enterprise, net revenue over the period grew by 19.4%, to UAH 1.5009 billion.
Gross profit totaled UAH 831.09 million (49.4% up), and operating profit rose by 16.3%, to UAH 738.9 million.
Taking into account earlier published data in January-June 2017, Turboatom increased net profit by 62% in July-September 2017 year-over-year, to UAH 253.6 million, and saw a 2.3-fold rise in net revenue, to UAH 455.6 million.
Turboatom is the sole producer of turbine equipment in Ukraine for hydro, heat and nuclear electricity stations. The enterprise supplies its products to 45 countries in Europe, Asia, Americas and Africa.
The state owns over 75% of shares in the company.
