Govt mulling filing new claim regarding debt of Odesa Port-Side Plant to Group DF – acting SPF head
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is mulling a possibility of filing a new claim regarding the debt of public joint-stock company Odesa Port-Side Plant to Group DF.
"We have suspended all payments. No payments will be settled today. The Cabinet of Ministers is mulling the possibility of filing a new claim on the issue," acting Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) Vitaliy Trubarov said at a briefing in Yuzhny, Odesa region last week.
He said that now the possibility of dividing the total debt into separate payments is studied. The debt could be taken into account in financial audit reports as part of the preparations for the privatization.
As reported, the debt of the plant to Group DF is $250 million.
