Ammo depot explosions not affecting operation of backbone power lines - Ukrenergo
Ammunition depot explosions in Kalynivka (Vinnytsia region) have not affected the operation of backbone power lines, Ukrenergo Director for Communication and International Cooperation Mykhailo Bno-Airiian has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Everything is all right. Ukrenergo's facilities are located far away [from the depot]," he said.
He added that Vinnytsiaoblenergo faced some problems.
As reported, at around 22:00 on September 26, reports arrived about explosions of ammunition in an arsenal of the Defense Ministry near the town of Kalynivka. Residents of Kalynivka and the populated areas in a 10-kilometer zone (Pavlivka, Medvedka, Dorozhne, Salnyk, Stryzhavka) were notified. The population is being evacuated.
