Ukraine needs to increase share of tourism in GDP structure - Groysman
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman believes Ukraine needs to increase the share of tourism in the GDP structure.
"I am deeply convinced, and experts say this, that we can increase the share of tourism, such a huge sphere, in the development of our economy very quickly and qualitatively," the prime minister said during the Kyiv Investment Forum 2017.
The premier noted investments that are attracted to the country should be spent, in particular, on the development of tourism.
According to Groysman, in many countries the share of tourism amounts to about 10% of GDP.
The prime minister noted many levers for stimulating investment in tourism are in the hands of local authorities.
