Debt of enterprises to budget rises by 18% since early 2017
The total sum of tax debt to the consolidated budget as of September 1, 2017 reached UAH 81.6 billion, including UAH 12.5 billion is the debt of enterprises since early 2017, the State Fiscal Service has reported on its website.
The authority said that the debt of enterprises grew by 18.1%.
"The largest sum is the debt of enterprises that did not secure it by assets. These companies owe UAH 25.6 billion or 31.45% of the sum," the authority said.
Debt of Ukrnafta reached UAH 15.7 billion. The tax debt of companies undergoing bankruptcy procedures or where courts decided to suspend collection of debts totaled UAH 10.3 billion.
Banks under liquidation have a debt of UAH 7.5 billion, the fiscal service said.
