World Bank, IMF alarmed with changes to draft pension reform
The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in a joint letter to the Ukrainian government have expressed their fears about the amendments made to the bill on the pension reform (No. 6614) when it was prepared for second reading, World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Satu Kahkonen has said.
The revised bill presented early this week was changed so that it arouses large fears both at the World Bank and the IMF, she said at the Ukrainian Financial Forum organized by ICU Investment Group in Odesa on September 21 and September 22.
