Next review of IMF program possible only after Ukraine fulfills its obligations
The fourth revision of the program under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is possible only after Ukrainian authorities fulfill their obligations, IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Goesta Ljungman has told Interfax-Ukraine.
"Consideration by the Executive Board of the fourth review will be possible once the policies needed for this review are implemented. The focus of this review is on pension reform and on measures to speed up privatization and ensure concrete results in anticorruption efforts. Of course, it is equally important that the program remains on track, and fiscal and energy sector policies remain consistent with program commitments. The timing of the review mission is still to be determined," he said.
