Nibulon threshes almost 121,000 tonnes of early crops
Nibulon JV LLC has finished harvesting early grain and industrial crops, threshing 120,800 tonnes, which is almost the same as last year.
According to a company press release issued on Monday, the crops were harvested from 30,500 ha, which is almost 6% more than in 2016.
Nbulon harvested around 108,000 tonnes of wheat (4,570 tonnes more than in 2016). Average yield is almost 42 centners per ha.
The company also threshed over 4,000 tonnes of winter rapeseeds. Average yield is 23.8 centners per ha. Some 5,400 tonnes of winter barley and 3,800 tonnes of spring barley were threshed. Average yield is 35.3 centners per ha each.
"A total of 62 grain harvesters were used in the current harvesting campaign. Despite large areas planted with crops, the company managed to remove the harvest from the fields in the shorter terms compared to the previous year," the company said.
Now Nibulon is preparing for the autumn field works.
