Energoatom sees 45.7% rise in net profit in H1 2017
State-owned enterprise National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom saw a 45.7% rise in net profit in January-June 2017 year-over-year, to UAH 1.629 billion.
According to a company report, net revenue in H1 2017 grew by 24.9%, to UAH 20.521 billion, and gross profit – by 42.6%, to UAH 5.258 billion.
As reported, in January-June 2017, Energoatom saw a 13.4% rise in electricity generation year-over-year, to UAH 45.716 billion kWh.
The share of Energoatom in the total structure of electricity supplied to Energomarket amounted to 59.9%, in the total structure of electricity production in the country some 58.4%.
Energoatom is the operator of all four Ukrainian-based operating nuclear power plants, which have 15 VVER reactors with an overall generating capacity of 13.835 gigawatts.
