Justice Ministry files counterclaim against business appeal court's ruling annulling collection of Gastransit's dividends
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has filed a counterclaim against the ruling of the Kyiv Business Court of Appeal, which annulled the decision of the lower court to collect UAH 79,877 million in dividends from PJSC Gastransit (Kyiv, partly owned by Russia's Gazprom) as part of the compulsory collection of a fine by Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee against PJSC Gazprom, Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko has said.
"The Ministry of Justice has already filed a counterclaim. We consider this decision of the court of appeal to be illegal," he told journalists in Kyiv on Tuesday.
