Ukraine International Airlines (UIA, Kyiv), the leading Ukrainian airline, has no influence and is not engaged in negotiations on the flights of Europe's largest low cost air carrier Ryanair to Ukraine.
Head of the UIA supervisory board Aron Mayberg said this during an online conference on the Liga.net portal.
"We are not involved in the negotiations, I do not know at what stage they are. I assess the situation as an ongoing negotiation process," he said.
Mayberg also noted that UIA is in solidarity with any air structure, and does not consider anyone its enemy.
"If any company wants to fly to Ukraine - it must fly," he added.
As reported, Ryanair on July 10 announced the cancellation of its planned flights to Ukraine after Boryspil airport had violated the agreement achieved at the Ministry of Infrastructure with the airport officials and its incumbent CEO Pavlo Riabikin in March this year.
