OSCE chairperson-in-office stresses importance of settling Donbas conflict
OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz has called for the soonest settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
One should realize that people had been dying daily in conflict zones, and many people living in OSCE member countries have found themselves in an unfit life situation, Kurz said at the plenary session of the OSCE informal ministerial conference that opened in Austria's Mauerbach on Tuesday.
Kurz said that he visited Ukraine early this year and saw with his own eyes how horrid the life of local civilians was. Nothing has changed since then, Kurz said.
He called for doing the utmost to solve conflicts both in eastern Ukraine and in other regions.
