Japan plans additional assistance for Ukraine's Interior Ministry to implement reforms
Japan plans to provide additional assistance for Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs to implement reforms, Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi said at a meeting with Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, the ministry's press service has said.
The ambassador says the Japanese government is ready to provide technical and financial assistance to support the ministry's course of reforms.
In addition, the ambassador and the minister agreed on a joint working trip to the Anti-Terrorist Operation zone in eastern Ukraine, where they are to visit Ukrainian police units.
