Cabinet will cut norm of dividend payment by Energoatom and Ukrenergo to 40% from 75% of profit
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will reduce the norm of dividend payment to the budget by state-owned enterprises Energoatom and Ukrenergo to 40% from 75% of net profit.
The Cabinet made the corresponding decision at a meeting on July 4.
The adoption of such a decision will help restrain increasing retail electricity tariffs for consumers and, accordingly, housing and utilities services tariffs, as well as the growth of inflation processes.
The decision enters into force from the moment of its publication and remains in effect until July 1, 2018.
