Natural gas production in Ukraine rose 2.9% in January-June 2017 year-on-year to 10.298 billion cubic meters (bcm), PJSC Ukrtransgaz said in materials.
PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia boosted gas production 2.3% to 7.477 bcm, PJSC Ukrnafta reduced production 6.5% to 0.612 bcm and other companies increased production 8.2% to 2.210 bcm, according to Interfax calculations.
In June alone, gas production was up 5.4% year-on-year to 1.703 bcm, including 1.252 bcm at Ukrgazvydobuvannia (up 5.4%), 0.097 bcm at Ukrnafta (down 7.2%) and 0.353 bcm at other companies (up 9.7%).
