Ukrnafta suspends production at four more fields over non-extension of licenses

Public joint-stock company Ukrnafta from June 27 stops production at Anastasiyivske, Rybalske, Artiukhivske and Korzhyvske fields in Sumy region over the non-extension of deposit use licenses, the company's press service has reported.

"Daily production at these fields is 740 tonnes of oil and condensate, and 803,000 cubic meters of gas. Now we are preparing for the stoppage of production and well mothball… Tomorrow gas supply to Mali Bubny, Batsmany, Hryshyne and Loknia in Sumy region will be terminated," the company said.

Ukrnafta said that the stoppage of production would affect production and financial indicators of the company.

The press service said that the decision of the State Service for Geology and Deposits of Ukraine not to extend the licenses is unlawful.
