Govt submits new bill amending Budget Code required for healthcare reform to parliament
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has submitted a new bill amending the Budget Code of Ukraine regarding government financial guarantees for the provision of medical services and supply of medicines to the Ukrainian parliament.
Bill No. 6604 was registered in parliament on June 21.
"The bill aims at bringing the articles determining the distribution of expenses between the budget in line with the new model for financing primary care and the public health system," an explanatory note to the document says.
As reported, on June 8, 2017 the Ukrainian parliament passed bill No. 6327 related to the healthcare reform. However, bill required to implement the above-mentioned bill (No.6329) was rejected.
