AVK launches ground coffee line on Ukrainian market

AVK Confectionary LLC (Kyiv), a large confectionary producer in Ukraine, with the launch of the ground coffee line under the Baristi trademark seeks to reach 5% of the market segment by 2018.

The company said in a press release on Monday that in May 2016 AVK started producing ground coffee under the Baristi trademark.

In 12 month sales reached UAH 90-100 million, and the ground coffee market share for Baristi was 2%.

The company also intends to launch a coffee beans line under the same trademark.

At present, ground coffee under the Baristi trademark is also sold on the Moldovan market.

The company seeks to enter the CIS markets.

The owner of AVK Confectionary LLC is businessman Volodymyr Avramenko and his wife.

AVK Group was founded in 1991.
