Qatar has lifted restrictions on imports of poultry from Ukraine, introduced in the middle of March due to outbreaks of bird flu, according to the website of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumers' Rights Protection.
The corresponding information came from the Ukrainian Embassy in Qatar.
As reported, in the middle of March a ban on the sale of poultry products from all over Ukraine due to bird flu outbreaks was introduced by Iraq, China, Qatar, Yemen, and Jordan.
The principle of regionalization to the supply of Ukrainian poultry was applied by Hong Kong, the EU, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. The ban on deliveries to these countries concerns only hose Ukrainian regions where outbreaks of avian influenza were recorded.
