Deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods drops to $151.4 mln in April
The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods in April 2017 was $151.4 million, while in the previous month $313.3 million, the State Statistics Service has reported.
According to its data, as a whole in January-April 2017 the deficit stood at $887.9 million compared to the deficit of $929.6 million for the same period in 2016.
Exports of goods in January-April 2017 amounted to $13.7 billion, imports some $14.6 billion. In comparison with January-April 2016 exports increased by 26.8% (by $2.9 billion), imports by 24.3% (by $2.9 billion).
As a result, the ratio of coverage of imports by exports came to 0.94.
The service said trade operations were conducted with partners from 211 countries.
