Ukrnafta sells 26 mothballed and liquidated wells for UAH 43.7 mln

PJSC Ukrnafta in 2015-2016 sold 26 wells for UAH 43.7 million, according to the company's response to the request from MP Viktoria Voitsytska.

"Some 26 wells, of which 12 were liquidated for geological reasons due to high water content or technical reasons, were transferred to the buyer's property. Some13 wells were mothballed, standing idle or expected liquidation due to high water content," the document says.

Ukrnafta said the resumption of operation of these wells is a risky project, which requires large investments, while the company's budget is very limited.
