Ukraine, China approve biosecurity protocols for beet pulp, sunflower meal
The protocols of sanitary and phytosanitary requirements for the supply of Ukrainian beet pulp and sunflower meal to China were approved on June 8.
Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumers' Rights Protection Volodymyr Lapa and representatives of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China endorsed the relevant documents during his working visit to China, the Ukrainian agency's press service said.
As reported, Chinese delegates inspected Ukrainian sunflower meal production facilities in 2015 and visited beet pulp production ones in January 2017.
