Georgian, Ukrainian defense ministers discuss possible joint exercises
Georgian Defense Minister Levan Izoria and Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak discussed possibilities for holding joint military exercises at a meeting in Tbilisi, the Georgian Defense Ministry press service said on Wednesday.
"Within the framework of bilateral cooperation, the ministers discussed prospects for holding joint military exercises. In particular, they considered aspects of participation of servicemen from the two countries in multinational military exercises planned in Georgia and in Ukraine," it said.
Poltorak arrived in Georgia for a two-day official visit on Tuesday.
