New wing of Okhmatdyt hospital for children to begin work in Nov or Dec

A new wing of Kyiv-based National Children's Specialized Okhmatdyt Hospital will be operational in November or December this year, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said.

"It's 26,000 square meters of space, which will be finished in November or December," Groysman told journalists on Tuesday.

Groysman said it would take about six months to complete the construction, purchase and install new equipment. Major construction work will be completed by July 15.

The prime minister said one of the main tasks is to call tenders to buy the medical equipment.
