Savings of Ukrainians UAH 18.4 bln down in 2016 – statistics
The savings of Ukrainians in 2016 decreased by UAH 18.4 billion, according to the State Statistics Service.
According to its data, the nominal incomes of the population for this period increased by 15.4%, while disposable income, which can be used to purchase goods and pay for services, by 14.2%.
The agency also reports the real disposable income of the population, determined given the price factor, increased by 0.3% in 2016 compared to the same period in 2015.
Disposable income per capita last year was UAH 35,610, which is UAH 4,566 more than in 2015.
Public expenses for the reporting period rose by 17.3%.
